Dr. Valsaladevi K Senior Consultant in Child Health, Yoga and Life Style Sakalya Child Health and Lifestyle Clinic Dr. Valsaladevi K is an internationally renowned Ayurveda doctor with vast experience in various fields of Ayurveda.
She has more than 22 years of clinical expertise of treating patients belonging to varied strata of the society. She has to her credit the results of successfully treating several seriously ill patients. Her patient list ranges from the inmates of orphanages where she is actively involved in social service to nationally and internationally well- known personalities and celebrities. Belonging to a family involved in medicinal plants cultivation, she completed her primary and secondary education with flying colors from Shivamogga in Karnataka. The second rank holder in BAMS, she graduated in Ayurveda from Government College of Ayurveda Mysore, affiliated to Mysore University.
She started her career practising Ayurveda under the nurturing guidance of the renowned Ayurveda physician and medicinal plants authority, Dr. L Vasantha Professor, Government Ayurveda College Mysore. She worked in allopathic hospitals to gain the experience of western medicine and later established her own clinics apart from working as a consultant in various Ayurveda institutions. In 2004 she joined Arya Vaidya Pharmacy (Coimbatore) Ltd and was posted as the second in charge of the reputed Taj Ayurveda Centre at The Taj Gateway Hotel Kozhikode. She prospered there and rose on to become the HOD of the centre and now is still continuing as the senior consultant there. She is also the Child health, Yoga and Lifestyle Consultant at Arya Vaidya Vilasini Vaidyasala Kozhikode. Other than Ayurveda practice she is an avid writer, poet, blogger, web content writer, Yoga instructor and orator. She is one of the founders and the chief operating officer of Sakalya Ayurveda Management Services. A management professional she is fluent in English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil. She can also manage Telugu, Arabic and German. She holds senior position in the Ayurveda Medical Association of India, is the managing trustee of CARDIA Trust and is an active social worker. She is also an authority on healthy cooking and has the skill of incorporating Ayurveda principles into different local and international cuisines.
